BISPHENOL A

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a white crystalline solid at ambient temperature that has a molecular formula as C₁₅H₁₆O₂. It is obtained by condensation of Phenol and Acetone. It is odorless and white round-shaped.

Bisphenol A is an intermediate-stream petrochemical product that is used as a feedstock for downstream application such as Polycarbonate (PC), Epoxy resin, PVC polymerization inhibitors, etc.
