An emulsifier and moisturizer. Small amount of oleic acid is also used as an excipient in pharmaceuticals, an emulsifier and solvent in aerosol products.

An anionic oil-in-water emulsifier thickening properties which is widely used in personal care products such as soaps, creams and lotions.

Palmitic acid is used for many functions in cosmetic products: surfactant (detergent), emulsifier (allows mixing oil and water), opacifying agent or emollient (softens the skin).

Surfactant opacifying agent in cosmetics and personal care products including cleansing agent that also creates foam. It is used in soap and emulsion stabilizer base.

Can be used in multiple skin care products, rich in anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory properties and moisturizing agent.
