ETHYLENE
ETHYLENE
Ethylene is an important commercial chemical. It is used to make other chemical, feedstock for produce of Polyethylene, Ethylene Glycol, Ethylene Oxide and its Derivatives.
PROPYLENE
Propylene is an important commercial chemical. It is used to make other chemicals, chemicals used in plastics and carpet fibers, paints and monomer to produce Polypropylene, Propylene Glycol, Propylene Oxide and its Derivatives.
1,3 BUTADIENE
1,3-Butadiene or also know as Butadiene is used to produce synthetic rubbers or elastomers, including styrene, butadiene rubber, SBR, PBR, ABS, SB Latex, Acrylonitrile, NR, main use of BD is in the production of tires.
BUTENE
1-Butene is stable in itself but polymerizes readily to Polybutene. Its main application is as a comonomer in the production of certain kinds of Polyethylene, such as Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE). It has also been used as a precursor to Polypropylene resins, Butylene oxide, and Butanone.
MIXED C4
Mixed C4 is produced through the cracking of Hydrocarbons (Naphtha, Ethane, LPG, Gas Oil, etc.) such as Petroleum or Natural Gas, and then the fractionation and purification with the difference in boiling points of Ethylene, Propylene and Propane. It is a mixture of hydrocarbons containing 4 carbon atoms and a colorless gas at the ambient temperature and pressure.
RAFFINATE
The primary use for raffinate is in the production of MTBE which is used for fuel blending to boost octane. Raffinate or C4 Raffinate is C4 residual obtained after separation of 1,3 Butadiene and 1-Butene from Mixed C4.
PYROLYSIS GASOLINE (PYGAS)
Pyrolysis Gasoline or Pygas is a by-product of olefins production. Pygas is a high octane number mixture which contains high aromatics content. Pygas can be used as a high-octane gasoline blending component or used in aromatic extraction application.
Mixed Heavy Oil / Light Cracker Bottom / Cracker Bottom
The product can be used as fuel oil substitution due to high heating value.
BENZENE
Benzene is a raw material for intermediate petrochemical plants to make other chemicals including Styrene monomer (55%), Cumene (22%), and Cyclohexane (10%), which are used in the downstream petrochemical industry.
PARAXYLENE
Paraxylene is used in intermediate petrochemical plant as a raw material for PTA (Purified Terephthalic Acid). Currently, 65% of PTA is used to produce Polyester Fiber or Synthetic Fiber, which is used as a raw material for apparels such as clothing and fabric bag. Another 30% is used to produce PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottle, which is commonly used to contain water and soft drink. The last 5% of PTA is used in the production of various plastic products such as film, food container and etc.
CYCLOHEXANE
Cyclohexane is used to make Caprolactum which is a raw material for Nylon 6, which found is synthetic fibers (sportswear, tent fabric and etc.) and plastic resin, etc. And is used to make Adipic which is a raw material for Nylon6,6 to produce engineering plastics, special intermediates for Polyurethane in Automotive and Electronics and Electrical industries.
ORTHOXYLENE
Orthoxylene is used to make Phthalic Acid (PA) which is a raw material for plasticizers, adhesive PVC pipe and insecticides.
TOLUENE
Toluene usually undergoes different processes to make Benzene and Mixed Xylene. It can also be combined with Gasoline to boost the octane value, and can be used as a solvent for coating substances, insecticides, paint, and adhesive, etc.
MIXED-XYLENE
Mixed Xylene is a starting material for petrochemical plants in the manufacture of Paraxylene. It can also be used to boost the value in gasoline, as well as a solvent for coating substances, insecticides, paint, adhesive and etc.
PHENOL
Phenol is a white crystalline solid at the normal temperature and mildly acidic. Its molecular formula is C6H5OH.
Phenol is an intermediate-stream petrochemical product, which is created from Benzene and Propylene as feedstocks. It is used as an important substrate in the production of Bisphenol A (BPA) and Phenolic resin, agriculture industry, pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, dyeing color industry, etc.
BISPHENOL A
Bisphenol A (BPA) is a white crystalline solid at ambient temperature that has a molecular formula as C15H16O2. It is obtained by condensation of Phenol and Acetone. It is odorless and white round-shaped.
Bisphenol A is an intermediate-stream petrochemical product that is used as a feedstock for downstream application such as Polycarbonate (PC), Epoxy resin, PVC polymerization inhibitors, etc.
ACETONE
Acetone is a co-product from phenol production. Its molecular formula is C3H6O, which is colorless, volatile and flammable liquid.
Acetone is manufactured through the production of Phenol. It is widely used as a solvent in various industries such as the chemicals, cosmetics, and medical industries. Furthermore, it can be used as a substrate in the production of MIBK, BPA, Methyl acrylates, pharmaceuticals and a wide range of coating agents and plastics.
