GC, Wongnai and LINE MAN provide green packaging

GC, Wongnai and LINE MAN provide green packaging in the campaign, “Stronger Together”.

Being part in in saving the world through the COVID-19 crisis! GC has delivered over 300,000 bioplastic packaging to one of Wongnai and LINE MAN network restaurants.

At this time, all Thais have to work together to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited or GC joins with two partners Wongnai and LINE MAN created the project “Stronger Together” to help food delivery business by supporting bioplastics packaging, which are 200,000 Bio coated paper cups, 100,000 bioplastics bags and 10,000 bio-plastic cutlery sets, to 200 Wongnai and LINE MAN business partners that have been affected by COVID-19 pandemic.

Give them free to over 200 restaurants

This reduces cost of packaging for restaurants and helps restaurants to adjust their business to delivery service. Moreover, the bioplastics packaging is also help the customers who has to self-quarantine at home safe from COVID-19 because the utensils are used separately. Using such packaging also help environment as they are compostable.

Safe for food, customers and environment

We can reuse BioPBS paper cup as a plant pot by just putting seeds which are ready to grow in it. The seeds will grow when the cup has been composted. Bioplastics bag will be reused to be garbage bag for organic waste and bioplastics cutlery can also be disposed together with the waste. The bag and cutlery will be compostable together with the organic waste.

Four persons who gains most like and share will receive special backpack and cross body bag from Upcycling by GC project. There are also six cool T-shirts from Upcycling by GC to be awarded.
