GC Oxirane Company Limited, a subsidiary of PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) which located in Hemaraj Eastern Industrial, Maptaphut, Rayong. The plant will produce annual capacity of 200,000 tons per year and will provide to downstream business such as GC Polyols Company Limited, etc.

GCO’s feedstock such as Propylene and Cumene will be supplied from integrated value chain of GC Group. Propylene Oxide s major application is used for the production of Polyether Polyols for using in Polyurethane plastics.

POLYOLS

GC Polyols Company Limited (GCP), a joint venture company of PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), Sanyo Chemical Industries, Ltd. (SCI) and Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC), located at Hemaraj Eastern Indsutrial Estate, Rayong. The plant has an annual capacity of 130,000 tons per year of polyether polyols, 30,000 tons per year of polymer polyols, and 20,000 tons per year of premix polyols.

GC Polyols leverages shareholders’ strategic positions in penetrating high value-added performance chemicals, thus enabling not only growth opportunities but also increase competitive advantages in the fast-growing markets in South East Asia and India. GC Polyols’ feedstock, Propylene oxide (PO) and Ethylene Oxide (EO), will be supplied from PTT Global Chemical Plc. (GC). Sanyo Chemical Industries, Ltd. provides advanced technology and technical know-how to enhance the performance in a wide range of polyols to fulfill customer’s requirements, while Toyota Tsusho Cooperation will support in marketing and sales with its strong logistics and networks. The combined strengths of the three joint venture partners will contribute greatly to the company’s long-term success to supply competitive polyols that are used to make high-performance polyurethane products in automotive, electrical and electronics, household, packaging, footwear and construction industries.
