They can be melted and formed by general processes with general machines; only slight adjustments may be needed. For bioplastics made from agricultural raw materials, they are produced by a fermentation process that converts agricultural raw materials into monomers, which are then used to produce plastic pellets. Currently, the raw materials used in bioplastics production are corn, sugarcane, and cassava.
