PROPYLENE OXIDE

GC Polyols Company Limited (GCP), a joint venture company of PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), Sanyo Chemical Industries, Ltd. (SCI) and Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC), located at Hemaraj Eastern Industrial Estate, Rayong. The plant has an annual capacity of 130,000 tons per year of polyether polyols, 30,000 tons per year of polymer polyols, and 20,000 tons per year of premix polyols.

GC Polyols leverages shareholders’ strategic positions in penetrating high value-added performance chemicals, thus enabling not only growth opportunities but also increase competitive advantages in the fast-growing markets in Southeast Asia and India. GC Polyols’ feedstock, Propylene oxide (PO) and Ethylene Oxide (EO), will be supplied from PTT Global Chemical Plc. (GC). Sanyo Chemical Industries, Ltd. provides advanced technology and technical know-how to enhance the performance in a wide range of polyols to fulfill customer’s requirements, while Toyota Tsusho Cooperation will support in marketing and sales with its strong logistics and networks. The combined strengths of the three joint venture partners will contribute greatly to the company’s long-term success to supply competitive polyols that are used to make high-performance polyurethane products in household, automotive, electrical and electronics, packaging, footwear and construction industries.

Reservoir tank is a small tank used to protect liquid for cleaning system as glass spray water. It can take complex shapes, allowing the tank to be mounted directly over the rear axle, saving space and improving crash safety.

MEG is most commonly used as chemical intermediate in the manufacture of polyester resins and textile fibers. MEG is also wildly used as automotive antifreeze due to its low freezing point when mixed with water and used as heat transfer fluids for ventilation and air-conditioning systems shown as below.
