Sharing Knowledge to Drive Sustainable Growth in the Industry
On October 21, 2025, PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) organized an online seminar under the theme “Navigating Sustainability: Carbon Footprint and EPR Readiness for Business.” The event aimed to share key insights and practical guidelines for businesses to move toward sustainable growth, in response to the global focus on reducing environmental impacts.
The seminar brought together experts from academia and industry to provide in-depth perspectives on key topics, including:
• Carbon Footprint Management, an essential tool for assessing and developing strategies to reduce carbon emissions among plastic resin producers.
• Readiness for the upcoming Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation in Thailand, which will impact producers, importers, and stakeholders across the supply chain.
• Knowledge sharing on PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled Resin) products, offering sustainable alternatives for the plastics industry and supporting the transition toward a circular economy.
