Tips for Producing High-Quality Masterbatch InnoPlus by GC LL8420AB
In the plastics industry, Masterbatch is additive in resin or powder form that enhances plastic products with specific properties whether it’s color, strength, or special features like UV protection, flame retardancy, antibacterial resistance, or anti-static properties.
One of the innovative solutions for producing high-performance Masterbatch is InnoPlus by GC LL8420AB, Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) in powder form with Melt Flow Index (MFI) of 20 g/10 min, specifically for Masterbatch production requiring high concentrations of pigment, filler, and additives.
InnoPlus by GC LL8420AB: Masterbatch Carrier for Efficient Molding
- Supports High Additive Loading: This product can efficiently support high amounts of pigment, filler, and additives, resulting in Masterbatch with the desired high concentration.
- Excellent Dispersion and Flowability: Being in powder form helps reduce the problem of layer separation between the polymer and additives during dry blending. This allows for better dispersion of additives, resulting in consistent quality Masterbatch products.
- Good Particle Size Control: Consistent particle size helps to efficiently control the quality of Masterbatch production, reducing errors in the manufacturing process.
- Clean Production Process, Reduced Contamination: Produced through specific grinding process that prevents impurities, ensuring the quality of the resulting Masterbatch.
If you’re looking for high-quality LLDPE powder that enhances production efficiency, reduces costs, and improves the quality of end products, InnoPlus by GC LL8420AB is the trusted solution you can rely on.

Challenge of Global Trends and Regulations toward Flexible Packaging
On May 7, 2025, PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) hosted an online seminar titled “Challenge of Global Trends and Regulations toward Flexible Packaging.” The seminar aimed to educate and strengthen understanding among customers, partners, and plastic resin manufacturers on the current global trends in Flexible Packaging and the challenges of international regulations. The seminar provided valuable insights to help participants prepare for market shifts and adapt effectively to maintain sustainable competitiveness.
The seminar drew strong interest from participants across various industries.
Keynote Speaker: Packaging Expert
The seminar featured a special lecture by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanyarat Jinkarn,
Department of Packaging and Materials Technology,
Faculty of Agro-Industry, Kasetsart University,
a leading expert in packaging, who provided in-depth insights on key Flexible Packaging market trends, including:
- Sustainability
- Enhanced Food Safety
- Regulatory Compliance and Industry Standards
- Convenience in Packaging
- Innovative Adhesives and Substrates
Growth in Food Packaging Sector
The Food Packaging segment continues to grow significantly, especially in pouch and sachet formats. These formats are increasingly seeking sustainable flexible packaging solutions such as mono-material structures. This segment is projected to grow by approximately 3.8% annually.
One of the main challenges of mono-material packaging lies in achieving barrier performance comparable to multi-material solutions.
EU Regulatory Perspective
Dr. Thanyarat also addressed the perspective of EU regulations, highlighting the tightening legal controls designed to protect consumers from harmful chemicals in plastics, such as additives used in manufacturing. The latest update to EU Regulation was released on February 21, 2025, and relevant Plastic resin manufacturers in Thailand are encouraged to download and study the document for a better understanding of upcoming compliance requirements.
GC, represented by Ms. Saowanee Likitamporn, introduced innovative plastic resin solutions for Flexible Packaging that address key aspects of environmental impact, functionality, and safety:
- Development of mono-material resins for easier recyclability
- Products with low Seal Initiation Temperature (SIT) and high toughness
- Suitable for various applications including stretch film, shrink film, lamination, and food packaging
- Introduction of non-PFAS resin grades to reduce health and environmental risks
- Readiness to comply with upcoming PFAS regulations in the US and EU
GC’s guiding approach:“Better for the Environment, Better for Productivity & Processability, Better for Human Being.”
